TaleSpin is designed to showcase storytellers from various walks of life with themes that include youth stories, cultural stories, humorous stories, historical stories and more. This event will appeal to all ages with a variety of professional storytellers and themes to connect generations and cultures and to convey history, traditions and lessons for living.

The event will be held in Miller Plaza's Waterhouse Pavilion on Friday evening with telling for all ages from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Then on Saturday, beginning at Noon, there will be a full day of telling for all ages at Miller Plaza, concluding with an evening ghost story session from 9:30 to 11:00 PM.

National tellers scheduled for this year include Carmen Deedy, John McCutcheon, Minton Sparks, Andy Offutt Irwin and Kathryn Windham.

Tickets for the event, merchandise from featured storytellers, a variety of resource materials and event memorabilia will be available for purchase on Friday evening and all day Saturday at Miller Plaza in the Festival Marketplace.

This event is sponsored by Fletcher Bright Company, Chattanooga Coca Cola Bottling Company and McKay Used Books & CDs. This performance is funded, in part, by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Southern Arts Federation and the Tennessee Art Agency. Funding is also provided by grants from the Tennessee Arts Commission.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the Festival Marketplace at Miller Plaza throughout the event.
