The Chattanooga Police Department wants every citizen to live in a safe neighborhood. The police stand ready to do their part in reducing the crime rate, but citizens can help, too. The Chattanooga Police Department has compiled a list of Neighborhood Watch Groups, an active Missing Persons page for your help, and various other programs in order to help our citizens make their homes and neighborhoods a better place to live.

Based on the 2008 countywide survey, 75% of residents said they never or rarely worry about their personal safety.
