Picnic in the Passageways
Picnic in the Passageways

Friday afternoons in May will look a little different in select Downtown Chattanooga alleyways. Held in two of the Passageways alleys on the 700 block of Cherry Street, Picnic in the Passageways will be every Friday in May from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm with food trucks, local music and art projects for everyone to enjoy.

The schedule for each Friday is:

Date Food Truck Musician to Perform
May 5th 2 Son’s Kitchen and Market Tryezz
May 12th I Love Tacos Randy Steele
May 19th Chatter Box Café Swayyvo
May 26th          California Smothered Burritos        Hip Hop CHA

With all of the momentum on Cherry Street, Picnic in the Passageways aims to create a sense of community on the block. We are also excited to continue providing opportunities for the downtown workforce to engage with the Passageways’ installations.

Picnic in the Passageways is free, family-friendly and open to the public. In addition to the food, music and interactive art projects, seating will be available in both the Grass Garden Inversion alley at 730 Cherry Street and at the Urban Chandelier alley at 709 Cherry Street.

Picnic in the Passageways is a River City Company program and only made possible by sponsors Lamp Post Properties, PV Design, Fidelity Trust Company and Super Chief.
