Meet Our Financial Advisor-Laura Catalanotto

With her monetary might, Laura keeps River City Company on track and on budget. As the Financial Advisor, Laura manages the day-to-day finances and allows RCC to cost effectively support our programming and projects that make downtown the place to live, work, play and invest.

With a Master of Accountancy and a double Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tennessee, Laura is a vital part of the RCC team and in promoting downtown Chattanooga.

Having worked for River City Company for 3 years, Laura believes RCC’s greatest accomplishment has been helping to create a downtown that is vibrant and attractive for tourists and citizens alike. She also likes downtown’s diversity where families, couples, outdoor enthusiasts, artists, young people and more can all find something fun to do and call the city home.

Looking into her crystal ball at the future of downtown, Laura sees an even more vibrant urban center with each district being distinctly yet cohesively combined into an area that appeals to all groups.

With her husband Brandon and lively daughter Lilly, Laura loves to be outside and spend time with her family. An ideal day downtown would include the three riding their bikes on the Tennessee Riverpark with a picnic in Coolidge Park including ice cream from Clumpies and finishing the day cheering on the Lookouts from AT&T Field. Lilly loves downtown so much she refers to it as “home sweet home”.

Personally, Laura loves to sew, plan parties and in general be creative. An athlete at heart, Laura ran the Get Out Chattanooga Challenge 10k plus obstacle course and plans to bike the 3 State 3 Mountain Challenge.
